Gordon Food Service

Founded in 1897, Gordon Food Service is a fifth-generation family business. Today, after more than 120 years of operation, the company is the largest privately held, family managed food service distributor in North America.

In 2018, the company's export business will offer more than 10,000 items to international customers and generate significant sales with the following export customers: wholesale distributors, major cruise lines, and all-inclusive resorts/hotels. In addition, the company imports a wide variety of products from around the world directly through the company's import subsidiary and indirectly through a number of suppliers. Gordon Food Service is committed to bringing innovative products to customers while remaining focused on the highest quality and standards.

Kyle Ferris, Grand Valley State University
Pursuing a major in Management, with a minor in International Business, Kyle Ferris will travel to Rome, Italy in the Fall of 2018. Accepted into the prestigious John Cabot University, Kyle will spend the year abroad. His estimated graduation date is in the Fall of 2019.
